Diseases and pests (20 min) and Weeds (30 min) that can be treated. Heat tolerances of various pests, pathogens, and weeds. Heat treatment techniques, equipment, and costs (25 min). Session 2: 11:30 – 12:30 (60 min, 1 credit)	Steam sanitation demonstrations Media pile (30 min) – how to apply steam using two methods (tarp and perforated pipe) Pots (30 min) – setups for pot steaming (pot pile with tarp, steam chamber in truck), effects of steaming on various pot materials	Gary Chastagner Marianne Elliott

Session 3: 1:15 – 2:15 (60 min, 1 credit)	Phytophthora disease identification and Hands On Demonstrations Recognizing Phytophthora symptoms on foliage and different hosts (30 min).
