The sites were First Creek (<a title=\"First Creek\" href=\"http:\/\/ppo.puyallup.wsu.edu\/sod\/first-creek\/\">1004<\/a>), Puget Creek (<a title=\"Puget Creek-1005\" href=\"http:\/\/ppo.puyallup.wsu.edu\/sod\/puget-creek-1005\/\">1005<\/a>), and Clarks Creek headwaters (<a title=\"Clarks Creek \u2013 headwaters\" href=\"http:\/\/ppo.puyallup.wsu.edu\/sod\/wsu-sudden-oak-death-program-2\/events\/stream-monitoring-locations\/clarks-creek-stream-monitorin-g-pilot-study\/clarks-creek-headwaters\/\">1007<\/a>) Rhododendron macrophyllum and R. &#8216;Nova Zembla&#8217; were compared. More samples per site were collected to better evaluate Phytophthora species diversity.<\/p>\n<p>Sites were monitored for one baiting period using 40 bait leaves, 20 from each Rhododendron species.
